SPAN Smart Panel
The panel that thinks.
Circuit-level control and metering, and longer backup from every battery.
The brain of the home
Your electrical panel, finally smart.
Most homes still run on a wall of unlabeled breakers you only touch when something trips. SPAN replaces that main panel with 40 individually metered, individually controllable circuits, all visible from an app. It is the layer that makes solar and storage smarter, and it earns its keep every day, not just during an outage.

What it does.
Four things a standard panel cannot.
Circuit-level control
Turn any of 40 circuits on or off from the SPAN Home app. No more guessing which breaker is which, and no driving home to flip one.
Revenue-grade metering
Every circuit is metered to revenue-grade accuracy, so you can see exactly where your power and your money are going, in real time.
Dynamic backup
During an outage, SPAN prioritizes circuits automatically and sheds non-essential loads, so a Powerwall backs up more of your home for longer.
No critical-loads subpanel
SPAN replaces the main panel and handles backup load management itself, so there is no separate subpanel to wire or rewire as your needs change.

Common questions.
What does a smart panel actually do?
It replaces your home's main electrical panel. Instead of a wall of unlabeled breakers, every circuit is metered and controllable from an app. You can see usage circuit by circuit, turn things on or off remotely, and during an outage the panel automatically manages which circuits stay powered.
Do I need a Powerwall to benefit from SPAN?
No, the metering and control work on any home. But SPAN and a Powerwall are better together: SPAN's dynamic load management sheds non-essential circuits during an outage so your battery backs up more of the house for longer, often without needing a separate critical-loads subpanel.
Will it fit my home?
SPAN is service-entrance rated with a 225 A busbar and a 100 to 200 A main, which covers the vast majority of Southwest Florida homes. It installs indoors or outdoors in a NEMA 3R enclosure rated from -22°F to 122°F. We confirm the fit and service size during the site assessment.
Is it certified and warrantied?
Yes. SPAN carries UL 67, UL 869A, UL 916, and UL 3141 listings, is FCC Part 15 Class B, and meets NEC Article 750 for energy management. The panel carries a 10-year limited warranty when commissioned by an authorized installer, which PrimeBid Energy is.
