Every PrimeBid home gets impact-rated windows to Florida HVHZ standards, so no shutters are needed. Insulated (Low-E, argon-filled) cuts solar heat gain versus non-insulated. Frame color is picked once below and applies across every window.
PGT WinGuard (vinyl or aluminum)
Standard inclusion. Vinyl non-insulated is the included base spec; vinyl Low-E and aluminum are priced upgrades. Both frames carry Miami-Dade NOA and Florida HVHZ Product Approval. Aluminum offers slimmer sightlines for larger spans; vinyl is the only frame option for double-hung windows.
CGI Sparta (aluminum)
Value-custom alternative. CGI was acquired by MITER / PGT — Sparta (aluminum) replaced the discontinued Sentinel line and remains in production at the Venice and Fort Myers facilities. Miami-Dade NOA, Florida Product Approval, NFRC-rated.
Andersen 100 Series (Fibrex composite)
On request for higher-end specs. Fibrex composite frame, impact glazing. Twice as strong as vinyl, blocks thermal transfer ~700× better than aluminum.
